Limited Edition Prints Quality Framing

29/04/11
The limited edition photo prints I make available for purchase are only available framed, the main reason for this is to assure the framing is done professionally with the best quality materials to maximise the protection of the print and your investment.
The framing of the photos usually takes about 10 working days and the process is taken care of by Stuart and Carole Slater who own and run Hidden House Picture Framing they are commended framers holding several awards to prove their ability.
When I contacted Stuart from Hidden House explaining what I wanted for my limited edition photos I simply asked for frames of strength and the best quality available to give the ultimate protection to the photo and the result was perfect, not fancy as to detract from the photo but enough to give the photo a little depth.
The quality of glass used in front of the photos is not left out either with UV protection being a number one priority and for this the photos are protected with imported glass with a variety of non reflect percentages from 99 percent anti reflect to museum quality at 50 percent anti reflect and so on. The actual non reflect glass used in front of an image depends on the photo itself for example a photo that has reflection in it such as the one of the pair of mallards coming into land above has museum quality 50 percent non reflect to retain the water reflection in the actual photo itself, if full non reflect had been used it would have softened the reflection almost removing it completely.
