Autumn Horse Trial, Equestrian Sporthorse

Hi there as you can see I've added another gallery to the sports section of my portfolio. "Equestrian Photos"

This was the first time I've made an effort to photograph horse and rider in action and I enjoyed doing so! There were some very nice looking horses in the training event at barge show grounds on Sunday and my favorite would have to be this beautiful Paint, not so much for his colour but for the size and power he showed when jumping.

I have photographed horses before but not in action, more as props for portraiture and glamour or just as straight animal portraits.

I would have liked to photograph one of the main events as well which I had been told on the Saturday were to be on Sunday afternoon, however for some reason the schedule had been changed and they ran it in the morning.
