Licencing Information
The principles of the licensing:
- Images supplied as high quality 300PPI (Pixels per inch) JPG files via email .
- Alternatively, 8Bit TIFF files which are approximately 50Mb per image are available for General Licences, delivered on CD .
- Images are provided as sRGB but can be supplied as AdobeRGB(1998) .
- Full Sized images are a minimum size of 3200x2400 pixels .
- Copyright remains with DTPhotographics .
- You can't represent the images as your own work .
- All prices quoted are on a per image basis and based on a direct deposit into our New Zealand Bank Account .
- Prices include 15.0% GST for New Zealand residents .
- The 15.0% GST that is included in the image price also covers any postage and handling costs involved for International purchasing .
Personal Image Licence
Price: $75
This licence allows the purchaser to arrange for the printing and finishing of the image by a professional printer of their choice
.- This type of licence allows the purchaser non-exclusive use of the images .
- Licence is non-transferable .
- You are not permitted to sell, give or otherwise make the image available for distribution .
- You may not represent the images as your own .
- Copyright remains with DTPhotographics .
- This type of licence is available to individuals only .
- Personal usage only. This includes prints and gifts .
General Image Licence
Price: $250
This type of licence allows the purchaser non-exclusive use of the images.
Licence is non-transferable.
You are not permitted to sell, give or otherwise make the image available for distribution.
You may not represent the images as your own.
Copyright remains with DTPhotographics.
You may alter and create unique images based on the original image.
To help protect copyright, images greater than 640 x 480 pixels, are not permitted to be displayed on Internet or Intranet Web sites. Usage includes but is not limited to: web, multimedia presentations and print.
Image may be used for an indefinite period of time on multiple projects by the original purchaser.
Exclusive Image Licence
Price 1 Year : $350
Price 2 Years: $650
Price 3 Years: $950
To enquire about an Exclusive Licence please email me at DTPhotographics with the image Ref. which you are interested in and the purpose of the licence.
This type of licence gives the purchaser exclusive use of the image for the specified period of time.
It is non-transferable.
You may not represent the original image as your own work.
Copyright remains with DTPhotographics.
You may alter and create unique images based on the original image.
Images of greater than 640x480 pixels, are not permitted to be displayed on Internet or Intranet Web sites.
Usage includes but is not limited to: web, multimedia presentations and print.
Image may be used exclusively for a defined period of time on multiple projects by the original purchaser. On expiry of the licence period, the terms and conditions revert to that of a General Licence and you may continue to use the image in a non-exclusive way.
DTPhotographics reserves the right to display the image for promotional purposes.
Important Information
All prices quoted are in $NZ.
For International orders DTPhotographics uses Paypal.
All images available for purchase are managed. This means a record is kept of who has licenced each image.
This ensures that you can purchase with the confidence of knowing where the image has been previously used.
The importance of this is that you don't use the same images as your competition for a similar campaign avoiding the embarrassment and additional expense.
This way I can tell you which industry sector the images have been licenced to. However, due to client confidentiality we can't give you a list of clients using particular images.
In order for this to work the licence PDF form which will be sent to you upon purchasing must be filled out and returned to dtphotographics by email.
Refunds and Breach of Licence
Refunds for Image Licensing are not available once the images are made available for download, emailed or shipped on CD.
If it is determined that any breach of the licence conditions occurs, DTPhotographics reserves the right to cancel the licence agreement without refund.
